The constructions for this special skate park begun on the 15th may 2009 by the German specialist Matt Grabowski and his team Minus-Ramps.
The official inauguration of this project, financed by the communal administrations of Esch-sur-Alzette and Schifflange, took place on the 24th October 2009.
Since the members of the association Red Rocks administrate the daily grind on a 1700 m2 district, multitudinous modules, like a Keith Pool, Ledges, Rails, Stairs, elevators, extensions, rainbow curbs, corners, jersey, curbs and gabs.
The biggest Skatepark of Luxembourg in concrete has no official closing time, and is lit during summer until 10:00pm. Entrance is free of charge.
You may get there by taking the bus line 4 ( TICE ), stop Brill, 5 minutes walk from the trainstation of Schifflange or by car on the parking near the salle polyvalente.
